This document outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, amendments, and refunds for all bookings made with Stablewood Lodge. By confirming a booking, you agree to and accept the terms of this policy in its entirety.
1. Booking Confirmation & Payment
A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a bank transfer for the full amount of the reservation. Stablewood Lodge will contact you after your booking is made to provide detailed payment instructions. Failure to make the required payment within the specified timeframe will result in the automatic cancellation of your provisional booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Stablewood Lodge. The date of cancellation will be determined by the date the written notification is received by us.
More than 30 days prior to arrival: A full refund of the amount paid will be issued, minus a 10% administration fee to cover processing costs.
Between 15 and 30 days prior to arrival: A 50% refund of the total booking value will be issued.
Less than 15 days prior to arrival: No refund will be issued. The full amount paid will be forfeited.
3. No-Show Policy
A “no-show” is defined as a guest failing to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without providing any prior written notification. In the event of a no-show, the guest will be charged the full amount of the reservation, and no refund will be issued. The reservation will be cancelled for all subsequent nights.
4. Early Departure
Should a guest decide to shorten their stay and depart earlier than the confirmed check-out date, the full amount for the remaining nights will be forfeited. No refund will be issued for early departures.
5. Refunds
Any refunds due under this policy will be processed within 10 business days of the written cancellation request being approved. Refunds will be issued via bank transfer to the same account from which the original payment was made. Stablewood Lodge is not responsible for any bank charges or currency fluctuations that may affect the final refund amount.
6. Amendments to Bookings
Requests to amend a booking (e.g., changing dates or guest numbers) are subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation if they are requested within the cancellation period defined above. Any amendment request must be made in writing and will be subject to an administration fee.
7. Travel Insurance
Stablewood Lodge highly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may lead to the cancellation of their booking, including but not limited to illness, travel disruptions, or personal emergencies. Stablewood Lodge will not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by events outside of our control.
8. Policy Changes
Stablewood Lodge reserves the right to amend this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply.
